Frequently Asked Questions

Point 2 Point Auto transport

  • How far in advance should I schedule my transport?
  • Plan enough time for us to pick up the vehicle. We accept reservations up to two months in advance, but at least two weeks in advance is recommended. We will deal with urgent situations on an individual basis, which will be given priority status. Please call us to discuss your needs.
  • On what kind of transporter will my vehicle be shipped?
  • Most are transported on multiple car carriers, the same type used to transport new vehicles from manufacturing plants to dealerships.
  • How long will it take for my vehicle to arrive?
  • Average delivery time for most vehicles is 7 to 10 days. Times vary depending on several factors such as length of haul, weather conditions, and pick up and delivery locations.
  • Will my vehicle be insured while in transit?
  • Yes! Every transporter is governed by the U.S. Department of Transportation and is required to maintain minimum amounts of liability insurance for protection of the public as well as cargo insurance to cover any contents left in your vehicle.
  • What does “door-to-door delivery” mean?
  • Door-to-door delivery means that the driver will get as close to your door as physically possible while considering the driver's safety and the safety of the vehicles on the auto transporter. If you live on a main road (at least 2 lanes wide) with no overhanging trees and no low bridges and the access to your road allows for the weight and size constraints of the auto transpohe driver will pick up or deliver your vehicle right at your door. If it is determined that he cannot safely load at your door, the driver will attempt to get as close as possible to the delivery location, or we will arrange a convenient location to pick up or deliver your vehicle.
  • Do I need to pay in advance to ship my vehicle?
  • We usually require a minimum deposit to initiate your order. If you pay a deposit, the balance is due COD (upon delivery in cash or certified funds). No other form of payment can be accepted on delivery. If you wish to make a payment in full on your credit card, it will have to be paid in advance when you submit your order. Payment in full is required prior to unloading your vehicle.
  • What payment options do I have?
  • We accept Cash, Cashier's Checks, Postal Money Orders, and Major Credit Cards
